LINC Launches Exciting Free Webinar Series

 

 

The Leadership for INClusion in the Early Years (LINC) Programme is delighted to announce it will host a series of free webinars featuring International experts in Early Learning and Care.

The first webinar in the series will be delivered by Ruksana Beigi, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Early Childhood and Education, University of East London. The webinar will focus on a chapter of her publication: Early Years Pedagogy in Practice: A Guide for Students and Practitioners – The Pedagogy of Nature: Moving Beyond Outdoor Play.

It will feature an introduction from Professor Emer Ring, Dean of Early Childhood and Teacher Education at Mary Immaculate College, with a discussion facilitated by Shirley Heaney, National Coordinator of the LINC Programme.

The webinar take place on Wednesday the 30th of March from 7 to 8:30pm and is open to everyone. Registration can be completed via Eventbrite.

Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies in the University of East London

Ruksana Beigi, author of the book – Early Years Pedagogy in Practice: A Guide for Students and Practitioners, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Early Childhood and Education, University of East London. Ruksana teaches across undergraduate and post graduate early years and education programmes. Her current research interests are creative learning in both early years and adults in education; children’s play; imagination and stories; the early years curriculum and early years pedagogy and practice. Ruksana has a keen interest in cross-discipline teaching and learning methods for early years programmes and is currently undertaking her PhD in making art with early years practitioners.
