
Denise Sheridan
LINC+ CPD Tutor
Denise Sheridan is the LINC CPD Programme Tutor with a Master’s in Early Childhood Studies, an Advanced Diploma in Inclusive Education and CPD, and an MBA. She founded and led Ulla Beag (2010–2024), a multi-award-winning, Reggio-inspired, play-based green school in East Clare, creating inclusive, community-driven projects in the arts, music, and creative learning.
A LINC graduate (2017), Denise advocates for the inclusion of all children’s voices in active participation and decision-making, and has contributed to national policy evaluations and publications. She has collaborated with leading early years and community artists and theatre groups on projects including the National Seedarium Exhibition, the festival-nominated film Our Land, and award-winning learning environments. Denise co-led national arts-in-early-years initiatives with Graffiti: Beag and continues to champion inclusive pedagogy, reflective practice, and the integration of children’s voices. She holds UDL Beyond the Classroom and Facilitator certification (2024) and published A Guide to Action Research for Early Years.
She has contributed to many research articles and students research studies as an advocate for Early years teachers, the role of the INCO and children’s voice and choice.
