Karina is a tutor on the Leadership for INClusion in the Early Years (LINC) Programme since 2020. Karina has graduated with a BA in Applied Early Childhood Education and Care, a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education and Care and an MA in Teaching and Learning from SETU Carlow.

Over the years, she has completed a number of CPD courses in Early Childhood Education and Care. Karina has tutored on QQI Level 5-8 courses for Portobello Institute. Before joining the LINC team, Karina worked as an early years teacher in various early years settings, including an outdoor setting. Karina has a keen interest in outdoor education, inclusive education, and trauma informed practice in the early years.

In 2021, Karina received her Universal Design for Learning Digital Badge. Karina co-published her research academic paper called: Outdoor Education, Interaction and Reflection: A study of Irish Outdoor ECEC in the Irish Educational Studies journal in 2022. https://doi.org/10.1080/03323315.2022.2088591
