Valuing Your Wellbeing as an Educator

This workshop will focus on the importance of educator wellbeing in the early years sector. It will provide strategies for recognising and prioritising your own needs, building resilience, and fostering a positive professional identity while navigating the demands of inclusive practice.

Leesa Flanagan is a mindfulness practitioner, owner of Many Mindful Ways, and a lecturer in Early Childhood Education, with over 20 years’ experience as an early childhood educator. She is currently completing a PhD exploring the role of mindfulness in early childhood education in Ireland.
Leesa is a passionate advocate for inclusion, equity, and wellbeing in education, with a deep commitment to nurturing compassionate and responsive early childhood practice. Her work bridges theory and practice, aiming to support educators and children’s wellbeing, and to help educators create mindful, inclusive, and meaningful learning experiences for young children.
