Dr Eilís O'Sullivan

Dr Eilís O’Sullivan lectures in History and Policy of Education in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. She also coordinates the Masters in Educational Leadership and Management programme, supervises postgraduate research and tutors undergraduate students on School Placement. Her research interests include leadership, current education policy and education for girls and women during the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Eilís previously taught at primary school level, working as a mainstream class teacher, in the area of special needs and as principal teacher. She has also worked as an Education Officer with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA).
