Linda Madden

LINC Tutor

 

Linda is a dedicated Tutor on the Leadership for Inclusion (LINC) Programme, driven by her passion for ensuring that all children have access to inclusive early childhood education. With over 30 years of experience in the early years sector, she previously owned and managed her own sessional setting, creating high-quality, inclusive, outdoor, play-based learning environments.

Her extensive qualifications reflect her commitment to lifelong learning and professional development. She holds a Teacher’s Certificate in Further and Adult Education, a Diploma in Montessori Teaching, a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Care and Education, and a Master’s in Inclusive and Special Education. Linda has also played an active role in professional development within the sector by contributing to the design and development of content for the LINC+ CPD Programme. Additionally, she has completed the High Scope Implementation Course and was among the first cohort to graduate with the Certificate in Leadership for Inclusion in the Early Years (LINC) in 2017.

Before joining the LINC team, Linda worked with the Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB), delivering QQI Level 5 and Level 6 modules in Early Childhood Care and Education.

Most recently, she has expanded her expertise in digital learning and online facilitation, completing the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Digital Badge, the Essentials of e-Moderating Digital Badge, and the Essentials of Teaching and Learning Digital Badge.

Linda remains deeply committed to supporting early years professionals in fostering inclusive, high-quality learning environments that empower all children to reach their full potential.
