Racheal Govan

Acting LINC Tutor

 

Racheal has been an acting tutor on the Leadership for INClusion in the Early Years (LINC) Programme since 2023. Prior to this role, she held the position of assistant tutor. Racheal holds a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Teaching & Learning and an MEd in Research in Practice from Maynooth University. Throughout the years, she has successfully completed several CPD courses in Early Childhood Education and Care. Racheal has also been involved in tutoring QQI Level 5-6 courses for CDETB and New Approach Training.
Before becoming a part of the LINC team, Racheal gained valuable experience in the Early Years sector through various roles and settings, both nationally and internationally. Currently, she owns two Early Years settings. Racheal has a passion for social justice within the educational system starting with the early years, inclusive education, and well-being as pinnacle practices in the Early Years.

 

In 2020, Racheal’s Reflective paper on “The living theory of Symbolic Violence” was published in the ECI Research Day proceedings;
