Milica Atanacković is the Director of Membership, Excellence and Learning at Early Childhood Ireland, where she leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for membership, learning and fundraising strategies, quality support, safeguarding, the online shop, and Garda vetting. In this leadership role, she shapes organisational strategy and drives innovation through a Theory of Change approach, ensuring that Early Childhood Ireland delivers impactful programmes and enhances the member experience.

Milica’s career is grounded in both creative practice and early childhood education. She holds a BA in Design Communication and a BA in Early Childhood Care and Education, and spent ten years in Australia working as an Educator, Service Manager, and Trainer. She subsequently completed a Master’s in Child, Family and Community Studies with TU Dublin. Milica brings a creative, evidence-informed, and future-focused perspective to her work, championing quality, continuous improvement, and professionalisation across the Early Years and School Age Care sector.
